Hayley Cunningham, MD

Infectious Diseases
Hayley is a current infectious diseases fellow at Duke University and received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. In addition to caring for patients living with HIV, she prescribes gender affirming hormone therapy within Duke's Adult Gender Medicine Clinic. Her current research focus is HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) use among gender diverse populations. She plans to dedicate her clinical and research career to improving HIV prevention and treatment outcomes among LGBTQ+ communities by addressing inequities.
